Smiley Kylie :-D

Kylie is a pretty big fan of the outdoors.  She's always asking to go "ou-tide".  This past weekend we got the opportunity to take her down by the river to Toad Suck Park!  She was just a little bit excited to be there...

I just love watching the excitement on her face.  She is thrilled by everything.  From exploring new territory to picking up grass or rocks, she loves it.  Toby's Mom and Dad, known to Kylie as "Ma" and "Pa", got to come with us.  I think it's rather funny that she calls them Ma and Pa.  We called them Grandma and Grandpa.  I guess she made the executive decision to shorten their names up a bit.   It's so sweet to watch them playing with Kylie.

Playing with some random rocks :)

She's a climber!

Out of all the toys on the playground.  I'm positive that her favorite was the swing.  She couldn't get enough of it.  "More, more!"

I think Toby was having just as much fun as she was :)

My sweetie pie.

Kylie quickly makes friends.  She's like me in that aspect.  Any kid that came up to the playground was an instant buddy.  This cute little girl came up with beads in her hair, and Kylie immediately started checking them out and playing with her hair.  I'm glad the little girl didn't mind because Kylie didn't ask!  While we were there, she made many climbing and sliding buddies.

Goofy little girls!

I still am so humbled that Toby and I have been entrusted to raise this little woman.  She has been such a blessing in our lives.  We pray everyday and seek God's guidance in how He would have us raise her.  I love her more than words could ever say.  God is so very gracious.

One of my favorite things to do is pray with Kylie at night.  She bows her head and closes her eyes, and I begin to pray.  Sometimes I go a little long and she taps my shoulder.  When I look up, she has her finger over her lips saying "sshhh."  She cracks me up.  When I am finished saying my prayers, I always ask Kylie if she would like to pray.  Sometimes she says, "No."  But, other times she says that she wants to.  She whispers in this sweet little voice of hers.  I can't understand what she's saying just yet, but I know that God does.  I am so thankful to serve such a wonderful Savior.
