My Silly Little Woman...

I was just sitting here thinking about how extremely silly and sweet my little woman is.  I was scanning back through some of my Facebook posts from days past, and thought I would share some of my favorites about Kylie Maye :-D  Let's start from the beginning...

• I am still 1-2cm dilated and about 75% effaced. The doc wants induce on May 2nd if she hasn't arrived before then :-D

• God is good :) I've now got all my finals scheduled to take next week. Now only if I can make it to Friday..... :)

• alright...2 cm dilated now, 75% effaced...so, why not have a baby on Saturday?? :) 7:30am...let the good times roll.... :-D

• Kylie Maye Bullock: born May 2nd, 11:23pm, 8lbs 9oz, 19 1/2 inches long :-) We are now home and doing great!

• Kylie's a week old tonight! :-D we need to have a party! 11:23pm...wow...I've been a mom for a week...

• Kylie had her 1st pediatric appt. today :-D 9 days old and she's already at 9lbs, 3.5oz, 21.5 inches long. She's definitely a Bullock :)

• Kylie's umbilical cord just fell off :-D

• so, as Toby carried Kylie to her bath...she peed all over him...hahahahaha :) she loves me more...

• Kylie is official :) she got her birth certificate in today.

• well, we've finally realized it...Kylie has red hair :)

• doesn't wanna go back to school tomorrow...I'm having too much fun with Kylie at home :*(

• just got through cleaning the house while Toby mowed the yard and Kylie slept-- that's some Bullock teamwork right there :)

• still writing thank you's...haha...she's 8 weeks old today, oh wow...i suck at life...

• is super excited about Josh and Ann Claire's wedding weekend....we leave tomorrow for paris, tn! :) Kylie's 1st roadtrip...

• Kylie officially has an Aunt :-D

• getting homework done while Kylie wiggles around on my lap :) she's such a fun baby :-D

• loves turning up iTunes on the computer and having dance party with Kylie :-D I think it's my new favorite passtime...and, hers too :)

• Kylie is four months old today....and, asleep in her crib right now :*( I'm not sure how I feel about her falling asleep so easily without me...

• is DONE with thank you cards...goodness, it's about time :) she's four months already...lol

• scratch that...I'm not done...I just found the missing Rowes Chapel shower list. I forgot about 10 thank you's... :(

• well, Kylie is sick for the first time :( but, she's suprisingly happy although she sounds like darth vader when she breathes... :-D

• Kylie is the big 6 months today :-D

• so, I woke up to Kylie fussing...figured she was hungry, but no--both arms were out of her gown and one shoulder...she was stuck....lol

• sitting here studying while Toby and Kylie are snoozing. Life is great :)

• Kylie and I suprised Toby and put the christmas tree up while he was at work :-D okay, really...I put the tree up, but she was a great supervisor...

• watching sesame street with Kylie :-D I think she's a fan of big bird :)

• well, I took Kylie to the nursery for the 1st time today (she wouldn't stop talking in church...maybe she's more like me than I realized) :-D

• getting together christmas cards :-D Kylie's helping by chewing on the envelopes ;)

• just got through rocking out some christmas jams TSO style while Kylie hummed/sang and chewed/played her harmonica...now time for some dinner and a little Elf :)

• watching Home Alone with Kyliebug... :)

• my favorite moment of each day is when Kylie wakes me up with the cutest, sweetest smile :-D I love that kid...

• I love how Kylie just tunes into Sesame Street...haha :) it's so fun being a mom...maybe we'll watch Toby's collection of Duck Tales later...

• I LOVE how Kylie has learned to utilize her jumperoo :) jump, jump, jump all day long...she is having a BLAST!

• wow...lightning just hit literally outside our house (sounded like a bazooka went off in our back yard) ...I mean, it shook the windows...I'm talking the loudest I've heard...and, Kylie slept right through it...amazing

• Kylie's a sneaky little thing...after Toby took his "watermelon, grape sprite" away from her, she crawled behind him and started sipping through the straw undetected for about a minute...lol

• My little woman is 9 months old today! she's been out of my belly for as long as she was in there!!!

• Kylie has figured out how to clap her hands--and, that's all she's been doing all morning. haha :) I love that kid...

• I love how Kylie and I play "chase" all over the house. I crawl after her til I catch her...then turn around and she'll "chase" me til she gets me! It's a rather slow paced chase, but fun...very fun :)

• so, Kylie has had this little polka dotted outfit on since last night...I JUST realized that one of the "polka dots" is actually a little strawberry yogurt bite that's stuck to her shirt--I fed her those yesterday :-D

• you know, it's kinda hard to study when your sweet baby is playing with your eyelashes :-D I love my little girl...

• dancin' to a little backstreet boys this morning with Kylie...lol. What's funny is that Toby knows more of the words than me!!

• KYLIE JUST TOOK HER 1ST STEPS!!! Oh dear...the fun begins ;)

• Kylie just used the couch to scratch her rear end...great :)

• whenever Toby is at work--Kylie gathers up all of toys and daddy's stuff...puts it in his chair and squeezes into the chair to play with it all :) I think she misses daddy...

• well, had to buy my 1st pack of diapers this week...thanks to everyone that hooked Kylie up with diapers at her baby showers! you guys are awesome :) Lasted a whole year!!!

• hahaha...I left the pantry open, and Kylie disappeared for a moment to return with some of her food from the bottom shelf...I guess she's hungry :)

• KYLIE'S ONE YEAR OLD TODAY! :-D

• this was a great mother's day :) surprise visit from mom and dad...fish fry with some great fish caught by Jay Totty ... Kylie being as sweet as ever, and I ate a sufficient amount of raw cookie dough :) good day, indeed...

• hello teething biscuits, teething rings, and orajel...Kylie has finally cut her 1st tooth!

• Kylie just turned the radio on herself and started dancing :) lol...she's such a little cutie!

• Kylie is setting up a tea party on my back while I lay on the floor studying :-D

• Kylie's 1st major boo-boo...it gave me a chance to practice wound care :) But, don't worry guys...she's a-okay! just, a little gash... :(

• got a lot of things accomplished inside and outside today :-D ... now, sitting back with Kylie watching Dinosaur :)

• well, operation big girl bed is a go...we shall see how long it lasts ;)

• Kylie has mastered the volume control on the surround sound...grrrrrreat...

• I had to literally stop and laugh at myself as I was getting onto Kylie, "Kylie! Do not pull mommy's hair for STABILIZATION!" I mean, really...who says that??

• as i was putting Kylie down for her nap today...she decided to get up. So, I say, "Kylie, you get back over here and lay down." She stopped, looked at me and said, "You serious?" Oh my...I believe I am gonna have my hands full :)

• Kylie is 1 1/2 years old today!!! :-D

• Kylie is a little trickster...she always eats her flintstone's vitamin every morning. Well, this morning she decided that she wasn't going to. So, after 30 minutes of convincing...she finally ate it. Or, so I thought. Since she "ate" it, she got to have her applesauce and pineapples. When she was finished with that, she pulled out her vitamin that she hid in her shirt, and said..."TaDa!"

• so, what do you do when your little girl's hair naturally dries into a curly mohawk?? great...

• Kylie is taking the longest nap of her life--I guess backyard campout's and playing outside all day can wear a little woman out!

• When Kylie woke up this morning, she took me to the bathroom, sat down, and pee-pee'd in her potty for the first time!!

• so, Kylie has put herself to bed in her BIG full sized big-girl bed consecutively for like 4 nights in a row. Like, literally...she will go in there on her own, crawl up there, lay down, and go to sleep. I don't think mommy is ready for her to be quite so independent... :*(

• why does my baby want to watch Harry and the Henderson's 24/7?? She cracks me up!

• I wrapped Kylie's presents last night, and it is KILLING her that she can't open them. She's so cute...

• Kylie's having a Sid the Science Kid marathon... (i've literally seen them all a dozen times already) haha...

• anxiously awaiting Toby's arrival home from work :-D Kylie and I will be sitting at the door, waiting for him to celebrate the new year! Be safe out there guys! Happy New Year! :-D

• Kylie Maye is 20 months old today...wow, time flies by when you're having a blast!!

• well, I'm about to go dig through all our trash in search of my phone. I know that it was in this house, but I cannot find it in this house...so, that leaves this last dreaded possibility... :( Way to go Kylie...

• watching Elmo's Potty Time with Kylie...brought to you by the Letter "P" and the Number "2" ;)

• Getting ready to head to Petit Jean today :) Kylie's first trip to see the waterfall!

• lying here...playing with Kylie's curls :) Love my little woman!

• Sitting here watching Monsters Inc. with Kylie and suddenly, I realized that she was no longer watching it with me. Where did she go? She walked through our dark bedroom to the pitch black bathroom, took her pull-up's off, put them in the trash, sat down and used the potty all by herself. She didn't even tell me!

• I love how Kylie always gives me the stank eye when I turn the water off in the bathtub. She loves baths :)

Well, that's it.  After looking over all of these posts, I've determined two things.  1)  I really like to use smiley faces :-D, and 2) I think I love this little woman, a lot.  Can't you tell?  ;)
