FYI

Just in case you didn't know...here is a little background:

I am an only child, but don't let that throw you off ;)

I grew up in an extremely small town in which most of my extended family also lived.  Basically, we made up the population.  You could say that I have lived a pretty sheltered life.  I am VERY family oriented.

I became a Christian when I was 10, but didn't really understand what it meant to live for Christ until I was in college.  I was very judgmental in my younger years.  It took me failing to realize that everyone fails and everyone needs picking up.  Who am I to judge?  Who am I to not forgive, when I have been forgiven of so much?  Brandon Heath put my daily prayer into a wonderful song not too long ago:

"Give me your eyes for just one second. Give me your eyes so I can see everything that I keep missing. Give me your love for humanity. Give me your arms for the broken hearted, ones that are far beyond my reach. Give me your heart for the ones forgotten. Give me your eyes so I can see."

You could say that I'm a bit of a dork.  I graduated the top of my class...all 16 of them :) and, went on to graduate from college with a double major in Biology and Health Sciences.  Oh, and a minor in Psychology.  Glutton for punishment??  Debatable.  Funny thing is that when I started college, I declined the Honors program because it meant that you HAD to minor in something.

I married my best friend in September of 2007.  Toby is pretty much the funniest, sweetest, wittiest, best looking, most hard-working man you can find.  I have been blessed to call him husband.

August of 2008, I began Physical Therapy (PT) school.  I honestly love it, and am starting to get a little nervous about NOT being in school.  I graduate next August, and I'm wondering what I will do with myself when I am no longer a student.  I guess I'll finally make some money :)

I had just started PT school when we found out that Kylie Maye was on the way.  So, that made for an interesting first year of grad school.  Imagine taking finals on a Friday being 9 months pregnant, and then giving birth to your sweet baby girl Saturday.  That's how it shook down, and May of 2009 we held our little Kyliebug for the first time.

So, now it's a year later.  Still wonderfully married, still loving being a mom, still enjoying school, and still happy as can be ...
