Life as we know it :)

Our days here in Springfield are starting to become more and more routine.  So, I thought I would share a typical day in the life of the Bullock's since we've been here:

I get up around 6ish to get ready to head to my clinic site, and try to be as sneaky as possible and not wake Kylie and Toby.  I grab a bite to eat, and run out the door for a full day of learning :-D

Toby and Kylie of course sleep in.  When they finally roll out of slumber, they straighten up our little room, hand wash some dishes, eat lunch, have counting lessons, refresh our towels, work on memory games, get more toilet paper, play with blocks, make the bed, get the mail, go play outside, etc.  Pretty much they hang out all day and have a blast.  

I get off work around 4:00pm and that's when the real fun begins :).  We typically head to the YMCA or one of Springfield's many city parks.  Today we went to a pool where you can get in with just a donation of a canned of food item after 5:30pm.  I love finding stuff to do here that's pretty cheap.  It's great.  This last weekend we went to an awesome pool that had a ton of fun stuff to do including a wave simulator.  

That's pretty much how each day goes down.  Some days we're lazy and watch reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond or battle it out on Mario Kart Wii.  Then there are some days that we get to hang out with Rachel, David, and Lizzie.  But, most days we are either swimming, walking trails at the nature center, or climbing playground equipment.  I love that there are so many things to keep us occupied.  It's making time fly by.  We're halfway there - only five weeks to go!  And, only six weeks 'til graduation!!!  WHOOHOO!
