Play in the Rain (March 28, 2018)
Y'all ... today was my Monday. OH. MY. LANDS. It started with us missing alarm clocks and waking up to overcast skies at 8:10am. I realized as I opened my sleepy eyes and squinted at the clock that my day was not going to go as planned, and I prayed that God would help me just roll with it. I'm not super big into change or things not going as planned, so this is a struggle for me. I dropped Gracie and Kylie off at school and headed to take Anna Marie to preschool a hour late. As God knew that I would need some help today, He allowed her sweet speech therapist to be there earlier than usual. She smiled sweetly and asked, "Oh, are y'all late cause you took her to registration?" A wave of anxiety rushed over me. I had completely forgotten about this. Thank goodness she reminded me.
